Firsthand Bitcoin · Data · Bitcoin miners
Total transaction fees paid to bitcoin miners each day, and their share of miner revenue.
2.82 ₿/day on Sep 21, 2026, against 3.67 ₿/day a year earlier.
On top of the block subsidy, every block pays its miner the fees users attached to their transactions. The line is a seven-day average in bitcoin; the overlay is the share of total miner revenue that came from fees.
Fees matter more with every halving. They spike when blockspace is in demand — the 2017 bull run, the 2021 run and the inscription wave of 2023–24 — and each spike lifts hashprice for every machine on the network.
