Bitmain's 512 TH/s water-cooled 3U box has about twice the hashrate of the original S19 XP Hyd at essentially the same efficiency, 20.7 J/TH. Bought in February 2025, it stood switched off for 38 days this spring, crossed to Nigeria on 19 April and has hashed through every low since.
Bitmain Antminer S19 XP Hyd 3U (512 TH/s)
The Antminer S19 XP Hyd 3U is a water-cooled Bitmain machine at 20.7 J/TH. Our store lists it at 512 TH/s from 10,600 W in a chassis 900 × 482 × 130 mm and 50 kg. That is about twice the hashrate of the original S19 XP Hyd, 257 TH/s from 5,345 W at 20.8 J/TH, at essentially the same efficiency. The model is no longer in the store, and we could not open a Bitmain page for it, so those figures are our store record and nothing more is claimed about the hardware.
Bought once its price settled, on 15 February 2025, it cost $6,287 and was $8,301 landed at our UAE site, where water-cooled machines start; the guide to what a miner costs all-in shows what sits on top of the box. In 581 days since it has mined and kept 0.1303 BTC, worth about $10,527 today, for $7,816 of electricity: $2,711 of cashflow, which is 33% of its landed cost.
For its first 382 days it ran in the UAE at 6¢. At 20.7 J/TH a petahash takes 497 kWh a day, so the machine's line, the hashprice at which it stops covering its own power, is $29.81 at 6¢ and $19.38 at Nigeria's 3.9¢. The guide to efficiency and halvings shows where that line sits at every J/TH.
Through 2025 it had plenty of room. Hashprice was $54.22 a petahash a day on 15 February 2025, reached $63.80 on 11 July, and did not fall below $35.06, on 22 November, before the year ended, on our hashprice chart. The 3U was never within $5 of its line.
In 2025 the lowest hashprice left it $5.25 above its 6¢ line. In 2026 that margin went.
Hashprice fell to $27.89 on 24 February 2026, with bitcoin at $63,709. It was under the 6¢ line on 14 of the 18 days from 20 February to 9 March, and after 3 March 2026, with hashprice at $29.76, the machine was switched off. It stayed off for 38 days. A machine that no site can pay for is switched off rather than mined at a loss, and the coins it had mined stayed where they were.
It came back on 11 April, with hashprice at $33.23, and ran for eight days. The S19 Pro Hyd sat out the summer of 2024 for about two months at 29.5 J/TH; the 3U, with a lower line, was off for five and a half weeks.
On 19 April 2026 it crossed to Nigeria, once, and only to cheaper power, when a trailing year of its own figures said the move paid decisively: a machine crosses to cheap power once. It has run 191 days there since.
Hashprice went under the 6¢ line again on ten days from 4 June, reaching $27.74 on 6 June, and on eleven more between 27 June and 9 July. At 3.9¢ the line is $19.38, and the worst day of those left the machine $8.36 above it. The 3U kept hashing through all of it; at 6¢ the same days would have cost it money.
Of the 35 days of 2026 below the UAE's line, 21 came after the move.
It has mined and kept 0.1303 BTC for $7,816 of electricity, $59,972 a coin averaged across its life so far. That is a lifetime figure, shaped by a long stretch at 6¢; the one to plan on is today's, and at 3.9¢ in Nigeria a coin now costs about $46,200 of electricity, against bitcoin at $79,720.
Valued at today's price, those coins less every dollar of power come to $2,711 of cashflow on a $8,301 landed cost: 33% of the box, from the coins alone, with every coin kept. At 581 days it is early in a working life measured in years, and the forward figures are what is left to run.
Between now and the April 2028 halving it has about 0.092 BTC still in it at today's difficulty, worth roughly $11,418 with bitcoin back at its previous high of $124,493. That would bring it to about 1.7× its hardware by then, still running. It is today's conditions held flat, not a forecast: every forward projection assumes the old high returns.
The halving is where the line matters. Hashprice was $36.27 on 25 October. Halved, that is $18.14, which is $1.24 under the 3U's line at Nigeria's 3.9¢. At today's price and difficulty, 20.7 J/TH is a machine for the run to April 2028 on Nigeria's power, and after it a machine that needs bitcoin or hashprice to have moved. Efficiency decides how many halvings a machine survives, so the figures below rank what the same money buys now by what a coin costs to make.
